Over 18 years of operating Technical Marine Services has gained a wealth of experience providing vessels to numerous offshore industries including:-

Offshore Wind Farm Construction and Operation
Technical Marine Services work on operational offshore wind farm projects. We have worked extensively for Vestas on the Scroby Sands Project off of Great Yarmouth and by 2008 we had completed in excess of 10,000 personnel transfers. Our work has included providing vessels for planned and unplanned maintenance, undertaking coating repairs, cable and diver surveys. We are supplying vessels and other operational to support the construction and commissioning on the Robin Rigg offshore wind farm project.

Inshore Survey
Our vessels have surveyed vast amounts of the seabed with a number of major clients including Gardline and Fugro. Our vessels have been used to undertake geophysical survey including magnetometry, sidescan sonar, swath bathymetry and have been used to deploy and recover metocean instrumentation.

Oil and Gas
We have worked in the offshore oil and gas sector. We have provided vessels to undertake maintenance of not normally manned platforms up to 50km offshore. Our vessels have been used to support 3-4day programs of unmanned platform maintenance, certification, repair and upgrade.

Ministry of Defence
Technical Marine Services has worked for the Ministry of Defence on various offshore
contracts.

Offshore Wind Farm Development
In addition to supporting wind farm construction and operation we have been involved in the development phase of many projects undertaking activities such as met mast maintenance, met mast diver survey, seabed survey, bird survey, grab sampling and deploying and recovering subsea instruments.
